Temp-to-Hire CNC Router Programmer/Operator - 1st Shift
We are currently seeking a CNC Router Programmer/Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing company. This role involves programming and operating CNC routers and laser equipment to produce precision parts and components based on technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
· Program and operate CNC routers using Enroute CAM software
· Operate laser cutting equipment for detailed cuts in sheet materials
· Read and interpret technical drawings and cut lists
· Perform measurements and quality checks before and after production
· Troubleshoot programming and equipment setup issues
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
· Lift and position sheets up to 60 lbs onto equipment
· Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 1-3 years of CNC router experience preferred
· Ability to read technical drawings and understand tolerances
· Strong math, mechanical, and problem-solving skills
· High attention to detail and ability to work independently
· Must be comfortable in a hands-on production environment
